The European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) is the largest professional community for open, distance and e-learning researchers and practitioners in Europe. Established in 1991, it is a non-profit, non-governmental association open to individuals and institutions involved in education. EDEN supports modernizing education in Europe by facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration between professionals in the field through annual conferences, workshops, publications, and over 30 European projects.
