(PMMY)
This segment mainly consists of non-farm enterprises in
manufacturing, trading and services whose credit needs are
below Rs.10.00 lakh. No. of person enrolled is 9000.The
MUDRA loans have been classified as under:-
Shishu (Loans upto Rs.50000/-)
Kishore (Loans from Rs.50001-Rs.5.00 lacs)
Tarun (Loans above Rs.5.00 lac and upto Rs.10.00 lac)
AWARENESS
Four Financial Centre in different banks.
Rupay Card being issued on campaign mode.
Backward linkage of Bank accounts through UIDAI.

DIRECT BENEFIT TRANSFER (DBT)
SCHEME IN FOOD GRAINS
Till date, a total of 43,273 households identified to
avail the benefits.
Subsidy amount transfer (average basis) Rs. 1.75 Cr./
per month through the Society’s Bank account in
Aadhaar enabled bank accounts of eligible
beneficiaries.
Subsequent additions in no. of eligible beneficiaries
done on monthly basis.

In Sept, 2015 Chandigarh became the 1st
State/Union Territory to implement DBT
Scheme for foodgrains.
In Feb, 2014 Chandigarh became the 1st
Union
Territory to implement NFSA, 2013.
2 categories of households:
i) Priority Household (PH)
ii) Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)
 Enrolment of eligible beneficiaries done as per
standard guidelines through Sampark Centres.
Subsidy wheat @ Rs.16.125; Rice @ Rs.23.125.

SUBSIDISED KEROSENE OIL (SKO)
In 2014, 68,000 beneficiaries availed 888
KL/quarter through 7 depots.
3 extensive surveys carried out (Aadhaar LPG
data of OMCs collected and matched with the
Aadhaar data of SKO beneficiaries).
Jan – Mar 2016 : SKO quota lifted 276 KL
against allocation of 780 KL for 17,000
beneficiaries. Saving 2.45 Cr. per annum.

STRATEGY AHEAD
3092 BPL families offered free LPG connection under CSR by
OMCs.
Sample survey of APL families reveals 80% using LPG.
Financing Scheme for taking LPG connection with 0% interest for
March-April, 2016 (Open for all). Recovery shall be made by
OMCs from subsidy amount of re-fill of Cylinder and to be
transferred to Govt. account.
Intensive awareness campaign.
White Kerosene -  freed regulatory control over storage,
transportation and sale of kerosene sold outside of the public
distribution system (PDS)
Chandigarh will be Kerosene free city by 31st
March, 2016

DIRECT BENEFIT TRANSFER (DBT) SCHEME IN FOOD GRAINS Till date, a total of 43,273 households identified to avail the benefits. Subsidy amount transfer (average basis) Rs. 1.75 Cr./ per month through the Society’s Bank account in Aadhaar enabled bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries. Subsequent additions in no. of eligible beneficiaries done on monthly basis.   • 14. In Sept, 2015 Chandigarh became the 1st State/Union Territory to implement DBT Scheme for foodgrains. In Feb, 2014 Chandigarh became the 1st Union Territory to implement NFSA, 2013. 2 categories of households: i) Priority Household (PH) ii) Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)  Enrolment of eligible beneficiaries done as per standard guidelines through Sampark Centres. Subsidy wheat @ Rs.16.125; Rice @ Rs.23.125. SUBSIDISED KEROSENE OIL (SKO) In 2014, 68,000 beneficiaries availed 888 KL/quarter through 7 depots. 3 extensive surveys carried out (Aadhaar LPG data of OMCs collected and matched with the Aadhaar data of SKO beneficiaries). Jan – Mar 2016 : SKO quota lifted 276 KL against allocation of 780 KL for 17,000 beneficiaries. Saving 2.45 Cr. per annum. Slide 18

STRATEGY AHEAD 3092 BPL families offered free LPG connection under CSR by OMCs. Sample survey of APL families reveals 80% using LPG. Financing Scheme for taking LPG connection with 0% interest for March-April, 2016 (Open for all). Recovery shall be made by OMCs from subsidy amount of re-fill of Cylinder and to be transferred to Govt. account. Intensive awareness campaign. White Kerosene -  freed regulatory control over storage, transportation and sale of kerosene sold outside of the public distribution system (PDS) Chandigarh will be Kerosene free city by 31st March, 2016 Slide 19
