NAVIGATION WITH REMOTE CONTROL OR EXTERNAL MOUSE
The standard program guide on the Android box can be navigated
using the Remote Control’s basic keys.
Why? - certain Android apps (e.g. Pandora, Twitter, Facebook)
need to be navigated using a mouse. These apps have been
developed for touch screens (Smartphones and Tablets) and are
not compatible with standard Set Top Box Remotes.
When? – pressing the basic keys do not take you to the next step in the Android app, use
the Remote Control’s mouse or an external USB mouse.

NAVIGATION WITH REMOTE CONTROL KEYS
On your Remote Control, when you press the
Left/Right/Up/Down keys, the mouse will be
activated and will move in the direction mentioned
on the key.
To click on a button or to place your cursor, navigate
to that area and then press left mouse click.
If you do not see the mouse pointer on the screen
when you press the Left/Right/Up/Down keys, the
pointer may be hidden behind the screen. Simply
keep pressing one of the keys until you see the
mouse pointer on the screen.

Question: How do i connect 2 TV sets - one HDMI and the other
Composite, to one Android STB?
Answer: You can connect 2 TV sets to one Android STB, follow steps below:
1) Cllick on Settings (home screen) - Use the remote’s arrow & OK keys
to click on Display
2) Select Output Mode
3) Select 480i resolution for NTSC + COMPOSITE/ HDMI
4) Select 576i resolution for PAL + COMPOSITE /HDMI
Please note that Video Quality will degrade on the HDMI TV because 480i and
576i are lower resolution than 720p

UPDATE ANDROID STB WITH SD CARD (1 OF 3)
Question: How do i update my Android STB with SD Card?
Answer: Android STB can be updated with latest Operating System using
SD Card provided by the company that sold you the Android STB .
Follow the Steps below
1) Insert the SD Card into the SD card reader
2) Keep the Reset Button depressed with sharper end of a pen /pencil,
keep the power cord plugged into DC in and turn on the power button
of Android STB

3) Operating System Update begins and TV screen looks as below.

DOWNLOAD NEW OPERATING SYSTEM ON A SD CARD ( 1 of 2)
Question: How do i download a new OS onto an SD card?
Answer: There are following steps to download a new Operating System on
your SD Card
1) A link will be sent to you from the company that sold the Android STB
to you as a compressed zip file, update.zip
2) Click on the link to download the file update.zip on your computer
3) Open a DOS Command Prompt ( see image on next page)
Select Start Button on Windows Taskbar
Type cmd in the search bar, select cmd Program and DOS
Command Prompt appears
4) Change directory to where file is: Type DOS Command
cd c:Documents&settings<user>Desktop
5) Rename the file: Type DOS Command
move update.zip update.img
6) Copy update.img from your computer to a SD card: Type DOS
Command (f: in the command is SD Card drive)

Question: What do I do when my picture freezes?
Answer: Try the following steps
1) YouTube Test: Play YouTube App on STB. If the YouTube video plays,
power off and on the Android STB
2) If the YouTube video freezes as well, check your Ethernet / Wi-Fi
connection
3) For any issues, contact the Customer Support team of the company
that sold you the Android STB and is providing the streaming services
