1. Jesus, the Christ, Messiah,
Son of God
Was to be born of the house of
David
And would sit on his father’s
throne forever.
People seldom study the
genealogies in the Bible, but
Matthew shows clearly that Jesus
was descended from King David.
He was and
He will.

2. But I want to mention some interesting facts about
that family going back even beyond David. Matt 1
Harlot of Jericho

Salmon begat
Boaz of Rahab;
Tamar was Judah's
daughter-in-law posing as
a prostitute.
Boaz married
Ruth, a Moabite.

3. God didn’t choose a perfect family to be the family
of His Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
But God chose the right family,
including Gentiles and vile sinners among them.
God chose you to be HIS son or daughter.
Your ancestry matters not.
You can start a new trend in your family.
Just choose to live your life unto God.

4. God would have us understand that He saves and
uses imperfect men and women to do His Work.
Jesus came, the perfect sacrifice, to save us
all from our sins.
Whosoever will may come and be saved.
Your past doesn't matter;
Your family matters not.

Now the birth of
Jesus Christ was on this
wise: When as his mother
Mary was espoused to
Joseph, before they came
together, she was found with
child of the Holy Ghost.
Joseph was thinking of quietly putting her away,
because he thought she had committed adultery.

child is of the
Holy Ghost.”
Joseph believed and obeyed.

Caesar thought he was a god,
but he was just a tool in the
Hand of God.

8. Joseph and Mary went to
Bethlehem to pay their
taxes.
70 miles.
Because of the census
Bethlehem was filled to
overflowing.

manger because there was no
room for Him in the inn.
The birth of the King of kings and
Lord of lords wasn’t announced
where you would expect..

of workmen in Israel.
They told the Good News.

They saw Jesus’ special star in the east, and
traveled a long journey to come and worship Him.

The learned men in the temple were amazed at His
understanding of the Word of God.
They didn’t know that He was the Word made flesh
to dwell among men.

15. At age 30 Jesus was baptized
by His cousin, John the
Baptist, and He began His
ministry.

to the poor and oppressed.
The religious
leaders hated
Jesus.

hundreds of people after
He rose from the dead.
His Blood
from sin.

19. The Shed Blood of Jesus Christ is the only thing
that will wash away our sins.
If you believe this Truth, the Gospel of Jesus
Christ: that Jesus is the Holy Son of God;
If you believe that He came to this earth, born
of a virgin, to live as a man, yet without sin;
If you believe that He gave His life, shedding
His Blood for you;

20. All that remains for you to do is to ask.
Pray a prayer something like this:
Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the
Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
I want to be born of Your Spirit into Your family.
I ask You to forgive me of my sins, washing them
away in the Blood of Jesus.
Lord, be merciful to me a sinner and save me from
the bondage of sin and the torments of hell.
I thank You Lord for my salvation. Amen.

21. If you sincerely prayed that prayer,
You are a born again child of the Living God.
Your sins are forgiven; you are cleansed.
Your testimony can be as simple as:
"I love the Lord and thank God for saving me."
