Layoff Process Continues, No Agreement as Proposals are Exchanged
CUSD and CUTA met on Wednesday, May 2nd for the ninth negotiations session this year. Three proposals were
exchanged and the table below represents the most recent package proposals.

Mutually conceived and agreed upon associated with Governor’s Proposal and
transfer language for opening of Sage Election Results
Creek High School Waive Article 13.8 (Class Size) and adjust
Open negotiations in November 2012 Article 7.13 on elementary prep time for
Tighten up elementary prep language the duration of the agreement (2012-13)
(Article 7.13) Side letter with agreement that any
voluntary transfer candidates for Sage
Creek will be interviewed for openings.

Agreements CUTA pays 100% of presidential release time
Upon contract agreement, rescind layoff notices other than needed based on board-
approved reductions

on May 9, 2012. CUTA/CUSD Negotiations are scheduled to continue on May 11th and May 14th.
