Effective Article Marketing For Web Solutions And

Effective Article Marketing For Web Solutions And Article Marketing . Article marketing can help
you get new traffic to your website, help establish you as an authority in your niche and help you define
the purpose of your website. It’s my favorite form of traffic building, since it comes naturally to me.
Writing articles and submitting them to directories is a great way to make steps into the world of
Internet marketing.
Even though I’m a big fan of taking action of
any kind, there is a right way and a wrong way
to do article marketing. Writing about
whatever topic pops into your head may be
good for creativity but it’s not great for driving
traffic.
If you have a website or blog, there are
probably certain topics that are a natural fit for
your site. I was recently working on a side
project dealing with health. The general topic
was “candida” and off the top of my head, I
came up with the following as potential topics
for article marketing:
-yeast infection
-candidiasis
-thrush
-yeast infection symptoms
-threelac
-diflucan
-candida treatment
-candida cure
-candida diet
-natural candida cures
Without looking at search volume or competition these seem to be good for the site. The list includes
major keywords that are associated with candida, including two popular treatments.
Marketing in the dark without looking at search results or competition is a waste of time. These
keywords may be good or they may be so competitive that my articles would get lost in a sea of other
articles.
You want to get the most bang for your buck, so to speak, so you should pick article topics that have
high search numbers and low competition. When you find keywords that people are searching for but
not many people are marketing to you’ve found the sweet spot that will get your articles (and your site)
noticed.
So going back to my list, I need to look for search terms that have a range of 1300 to 2900 searches
per month (this is my standard of search based on Josh Spaulding’s formula.
My best choices for candida are:
-candidiasis albicans
-natural cures for yeast infections
-candidiasis cure
These are in my search range and by checking the page rank of the top ten results for those terms, I
can see that my well placed articles will draw traffic really quickly. Of course, I’ll eventually expand my
list to include some higher search terms especially if those terms have light competition. Three articles
does not make a good article marketing campaign, so I’ll pull in some related terms and analyze those
results in the same way.
What about the big topics that get get hundreds of thousands of searches a month? They are still
relevant to your topic so you should find a way to use them. Use them in articles posted on your
website or sprinkle the terms throughout your articles. Your site and articles will naturally move up the
rankings for those terms with time. But to get the biggest impact right away you should find low
competition keywords to give you an initial burst of traffic.
