Direct the technology, distribution, and human resource divisions of a diverse global freight forwarding business while
establishing a strong footprint through organic and acquisition growth—including two competitors with vastly diverse
corporate cultures—transforming this $26M company into a $114M company in less than two years.
Implemented cost savings throughout, including vendor contract negotiations resulting in savings of $5M over two
years, and an HR benefits package that saved $300K annually and improved employee coverage.
Professionalized operations force by identifying top talent that executed strategic plan that vastly increased
customer base and improved operating efficiencies.
Technology enhancements included the implementation of a state-of-the art VoIP phone network over a distributed

first companies to employ virtual warehouse modeling, and following Office Depot acquisition—ultimately realizing
$800M in annual sales without a warehouse and with just 100 sales and 30 back office operations staff.
Transformed catalog business model—producing $20M inventory savings by implementing a virtual warehouse
model enabling 85% of orders to be drop shipped; allowing enterprise to downsize from 26 distribution centers to
just four while generating a $100M sales increase.
Slashed operating expenditures $300K annually through skillful renegotiation of contracts as well as
implementation of operational improvements in support of lowering costs while maintaining performance quality.
Cut inventory losses more than 20% by streamlining reverse logistics processes—limiting loss and debt inventory
pileup.
Managed a $200M budget, full P&L, vendor relations, contract negotiations, problem resolution, project
implementations, and the establishment of reporting standards and measurable metrics—while ensuring top
performance of business operations, financial systems, telecommunications, supply chain, and distribution
