A view of NBA's (National Basketball Association) players' ratings in accordance to statistical factors (Points, Assists, Minutes, Fouls, Field Goal %, Free Throw %, and etc.). The players are compared to each other; there is one player in each position that has a rating of 100%. Those players are divided into the following positions: Guard, Forward, and Center; since it is easier and more logical to compare the players in accordance to position. The ratings using statistical factors were used in developing an algorithm to determine the overall players ratings. For instance, say if Player A had the greatest points per game average for a Guard in the regular season then all the other Guards will have their points per game average divided by Player A's average to get a rating for that statistical factor. This thought process was for every statistical factor and for every position. As stated in the presentation this is to indicate player's performance in reference to statistics not presence and other non-calculated factors.
