BrandLaureate SMEs Best Brand Awards 2011. The award ceremony was held on January 12th
,
2012 at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa.
Present to receive the award from The BrandLaureate Woman of the Year 2011,YBhg Datuk Jalilah
Baba, Director General of MIDA was YBhg Admiral Datuk Mohd. Ramly bin Abu Bakar, the
Chairman of AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad. Also present were Mr. Jahanath Muthusamy,
CEO of AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad; Ms. Gaelle Olivier, CEO of AXA Asia General
Insurance and the management staff of AXA Affin General Insurance.
Organized by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF), the only branding foundation in the world,
The BrandLaureate is the most prestigious and sought after branding award for SMEs. This
prestigious award honours branding excellence amongst multinationals, public listed and
government linked companies in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region.
Included in The BrandLaureate – SMEs Chapter Awards 2011 was The Masters Awards that was
honored to large corporations/association whose services or products have facilitated the growth of
SMEs. Through an online poll conducted by APBF among SMEs in Malaysia, AXA Affin General
Insurance Berhad was voted the most preferred brand in general insurance.
Thus, being conferred The Masters Award – The Most Preferred Brand is a defining moment as it is
a testimony of the success of AXA Affin General Insurance brand. It is also an endorsement of being
the preferred choice among SMEs and is a further acknowledgement of the brand's value, strength
and character.
