- To be means SER or ESTAR in Spanish.
- To be = AM – IS – ARE Con estas personas o pronombres personales el
- -ING means -ando, -endoin Spanish. verbo siempre es infinitivo, no se conjuga o no
cambia.
¿Cómo usar la terminación -ING? I go to the shop over there.

1.- Sí el verbo infinitivo termina con -e , elimina
la letra e y agrega la terminación - ING al Por otro lado si usamos la tercera persona singular
verbo. al verbo se le debe agregar una -S final.

2.- Sí el verbo infinitivo es muy corto duplica la
última consonante y agrega la terminación He smokes in the garden.

3.- A los verbos restantes sólo se le agrega la

Study + ING = Studying. Wash = Washes
Watch = Watches
- Sí el verbo infinitivo termina con -Y , pero antes
hay una consonante; cambie la Y por -ies.

Fly = Flies
- Sí el verbo no cumple con las reglas
anteriormente nombradas sólo hay que agregar
-s al verbo.

(En este caso el verbo termina con Y, pero antes
tiene una vocal)
