Zawadi is now a toddler! Sephora is happy to see her baby growing up and begins to realize just how much of an internal struggle this whole parenthood thing has been for Miles.
15. His feelings towards children has not changed. It’s a permanent part of his personality, but he knows that loving his daughter has to overrule those negative feelings.
16. Nevertheless…every once in a while, he is still repulsed by the idea of tears, diapers and all that comes along with babies and children.
17. Miles turns in early, and once again, the nightmares about being a bad father creep up on him.
19. Sephora, being the sensitive person that she is has detected Mile’s true feelings about having a child around.
20. “Oh my goodness, he is really struggling with this whole baby thing,” Sephora realizes out loud.
21. Sephora’s realization does not upset her. The true mark of a good father is when he can put his own needs, likes and dislikes aside to do what he is supposed to do to be a responsible parent.
22. No, this does not upset Sephora at all. In fact, it makes her love and respect her husband even more. She changes Zawadi into her pajamas and puts her in her crib.
23. It’s been another long day and Sephora is ready to lay her head down next to her loving husband…
