Now that I have been in NYU for a few months, I felt somewhat exhausted but overall enriched. It
is exhausting to accommodate a new learning environment and heavy workload in NYU; however,
it is also enriching that I gained more knowledge from different courses and improved my writing

I first came to New York by myself when I was 15 years old to pursue thehigh school education, and

My interest in NYU began at the same time as my kinship with New York City. For years, I was an

NYU–AD has always been my first choice college. Several of our graduated are currently doing

My experience at NYU Stern has been nothing short of transformative. Coming to New York, I
had no idea what my future would look like or even what academic and career paths I wanted to
pursue. I entered New York University as a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, where I
took courses in economics and politics. After my first semester freshman year, I was awarded a
$40,000 University Future Funds scholarship for my academic performance. Midway through my
second semester of that same year, following internships and networking opportunities, I was drawn

When my family first moved to the United States from Dubai, my Dad and I explored NYU's
