3. Link link link. It’s hard to predict exactly where your traffic will come from
4. Read more than you write, listen more than you measure
5. A strategic plan isn’t required
6. Link to people you want to meet
7. Your opinions aren’t enough
8. Give away everything you can for free
9. SEO is no joke. Figure it out
10. Steal ruthlessly but attribute everything
11. Learn to think in 140 characters
12. Connections matter
13. It’s easier than you think to be invited to a conference
Challenges you’ll have to overcome Social media is exhausting Once you start, people expect you to continue You will be tied to your employer’s brand,   and they to your brand
