2. What need to be changed here?

4.  Most of our students bring pocketed, baked
junk foods irrelevant of their age, class
 They are totally unaware of the ill effects of
these junk foods
Worst part of it is, the ignorance of parents,
they too tend to finish it cheap and quick
 Even few children eat dairy whitener

5. Young minds being addicted..
Young stomachs being spoiled..

6.  Up normal Fatigue
 Indigestion
 Fluctuations in blood sugar level
 Heart deceases
 Kidney deceases
 Liver damage
 Type 2 diabetes &
 Increases the risks of cancer
 affects the brain functions

8. Because of the junk foods
cleanliness is also affected
Pocketed snacks spoil health and its wrappers are thrown
everywhere in the playground..

9. We took up the matter immediately...
Headmistress is lecturing about the ill
effects to students

10. What was Instructed?
 Junk foods are banned from August 1, 2014 in
school premises
 A committee formed comprising 16 students to
monitor this
 Committee will check the bags of every student
 Parents, VEC members are also agreed, promised
support
 Posters pasted inside classroom against these

14. Support sought from the sources
Being parents themselves, they too agree to cooperate - which means students
won’t be able to buy junk foods around the school anymore

15. What a time!!! A Banana stall too was opened
opposite to our school..

weeks…
