• Bharti Foundation
– Bharti Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Bharti Group Companies.
– The prime objective is to bridge the existing education divide and make quality
education accessible to underprivileged children in rural India.
– The Foundation aims to help underprivileged children and young people of our country
realize their potential.
• Satya Bharti School Program
– The Satya Bharti School Program is the flagship program of Bharti Foundation.
– It aims to deliver free quality education to underprivileged children, with special focus
on the girl child across rural India.
– Present Operational Status:
• Number of Schools Operational: 254
• States of Operation: West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar
Pradesh & Tamil Nadu
• Number of Students Enrolled: Over 38,000
3. Geographical Location:
SATYA BHARTI GOVT. PRIMARY SCHOOL SALGAWALI is situated in the east
and has 5 km distance from Achrol [small town] which is placed on the NH 11C,in the
north and has 30 km distance from jaipur.
All peoples depend on agriculture and labour to survive.
Cultural Background:
All peoples belong to hindu religion. and they are so conscious for their traditions. males put
on DHOTI –KURTA and females put on LAHANGA-ODANI.
They are uneducated. population explosion ,child marriage and many types of social
problems are common in their social system.
Role of Satya Bharti School in the Village:
satya bharti school is providing quality education to children of poor families. It works
specially for girl child education as well as welfare of society.
Participation in ‘Design for Giving’ School Contest:
We want to remove above social problems from community and every member is working
for it.
We choose child marriage is very common problem of our community.
4. We ‘Felt’:
• Water is an gift of nature, we should preserve water for our future.
• The importance of the water in the life of the individuals.
• To preserve the water and also the use of the water as per the need
and to stop the misuse of the water.
5. We ‘Imagined’:
When we observed their problems at various level in villages then we decide to
create the awareness about the issue of water conservation.
We know that this not a easy task we decided to do it with the help of our little
soldiers without any worry about the result.
6. We ‘Did’:
• First of all we designed a plan to get our objective and discussed with the participants of this
activity.
• A Community meeting was conducted for creating the awareness on the issue.
• Awareness rally to aware the community members , role plays, plantation of trees for rain,
sharing of the rain water harvesting system.
7. Impact on Community:
• First time community member realize that this is an major issue in
the state and they should start the measure for coping with this
issue.
• It effects the men, animals, plants and all living things.
• People are now took oath for planting trees and conserving the
water uses.
8. Impact on Us:
Now we are feeling so happy & satisfied and ready for next
step.
Our community gave full support to us and after that we
are feeling motivated & energetic.
9. The Road Ahead…..(in the next 3 months)
• We will do more trees plantation to get our objective and
arrange some meetings with the Sarpanch of the village
for the ensuring of the safety of the planted trees.
• Assurance to be taken from each person of the
community to plant trees and also take care of this trees
in future.
