Since 2006 we have completed more
than 400 projects in user research,
testing, information architecture,
prototyping and other methods of
improving interfaces.
It covers more than 50%
of usability services market in Russia.
In 2012 we’ve made up more
than 100 projects
for 70 clients and
our staff grew
almost twice.
3. Our specialists have psychological, design,
engeneer education and a lot of experience in
researches, evaluating and prototyping.
All our specialsts have highter education, 10% of
them have an academic degree.

6. Usability Labs
We conducted more than 500 usability tests in 2012.
Since 2007 we have already conducted thousands
sessions of usability tests. We tested desctop,
mobile, web interfaces and intefaces of special
devices like cash-dispensers and information
terminals and systems like IVRs.
Our labs in Moscow and St. Petersburg have Tobii
eye-trackers X120. Since 2012 we have a special
mobile device eye-tracking stand.
7. In 2007 Usabilitylab organized
a web community of usability
specialists of Russia and russian-
speaking countries.
Now it unites over 2 thousand
members.

And Partnership
Usabilitylab is the official representator and exlusive
distributor of products of Tobii Technology in Russia
since 2007.
We started using psychophysiological methods even earlier. Usabilitylab
and Institute of Psychology of the Russian Academy of Sciences developed a
method of Phase Analysis of Psychophysiological Signals (PAPS) and applied
it in usability testings.
In 2012 we conducted series of usability tests for several Win8 applications
before the system was oficially released.
Our company is an official vendor of Microsoft in
design services for Windows 8 since 2012.

Usabilitylab is also an official russian partner of
TechSmith and Noldus, the leaders of software and
hardware development for usability researches.
We are the official partner of Yandex.Metric - the
leading russian tool for web analytics, an analogue
of Google Analytics.
Our specialists are also officially sertified in Google Analytics and
successfully condeuct projects in setting up and analyzing the data from the
counters.

We speak with all the business staff that is
involved in project from analysts and managers
to techincal support.
We select a method
due to the project
conditions. It can be a
quick metod like focus
group or brainstorm or
a long one like a series
of interview or diary
research.
We produce two or three different scetches of
future interface and select the best one on the
brainstorm with the project team.
We make expert reviews or usability tests of
concept and interactive prototypes and remain
the iterative evaluations of the ready product.
We determine the key screens of the interface
and produce the detalised interactive prototypes
that allow to pass the scenarios.

Our specialists take part in different local and international
conferences which are attended by speakers from different business
spheres.
Since 2012 Usabilitylab is a member of Russian Association of
Electronic Communications.
Our founder Dmity Satin is counsellor in Ministry
of Communications of RF since 2013.
Several specialist of Usabilitylab are members of
UPA, and Dmitry Satin is a Regional Director of
UPA since 2012.

Every week we produce a 40-minutes webinar on
Livestream.com concerning different aspects of
usability, researches, web-design and business.
Dmitry Satin and other specialists produce a web-
show ‘Human Factor’ that is held on SeoPult TV. In
this show we help small e-commerce companies to
improve their interfaces quickly and effectively.

Our clients are located in different parts of the world.
We translate our reports and other documents ourselves or use the services of transletors. Our partner
is Step Forward Translation Interpretation Services. This agency has many years of experience in
providing translation services (written, simultaneous and consecutive) from / into English, German,
French, Spanish and Italian.
17. Inhouse Researches
We carry out non-commersial and scientific researches and take part in
international research projects.
Since 2007 we’ve been conducting extensive research on user behavior
on e-commerce web-sites as well as user’s overall trust to e-commerce.
In 2012 Usabilitylab and 13 other countries took part in the cross-
cultural eye-tracking research by IUTP. The date was collected in
Institut of Software Ergonomics and Usability Zurich, Switzerland.
