1. In this question I asked how familiar they were with the Indie Rock Genre,
based on the research a lot of people said that they were rather familiar
with the genre. Because of these results I decided that I was going to stick
with the genre, as it was fairly well known.
2. In this question I asked who their favourite band/artist where,based on
my research the most popular band where Oasis, as a further question I
asked their opinion on Jason Mraz, to my surprise a lot more people said
they had heard of him and liked him then I expected, which had made me
stay with Jason for my song.
3. When I asked what they would expect to see in a music video the most
common answer was for someone or a band to be performing within the
video with instruments on show. Based on this idea I have decided I
would like to have my character performing to the camera i.e. singing and
dancing.
4. From this question I asked what clothing they would expect to see in a
Indie Rock video, based on what feedback I got I would say that my
character will be wearing chinos, a chequered shirt with maybe a straw
hat on.
5. In this question I asked what type of shots people would expect to see
within a music video of this genre. From my results I found that people
would expect to see a few establishing shots, close ups and full body shots
of the artist. Based on feedback I have decided that I will incorporate
these shots into my music video.
6. When I asked what types of instruments they would expect to hear I
found that the most common answer would be something such as a guitar
or a set of drums. This then gave my an idea to maybe have a scene with
my character where he has a guitar and is performing to the camera.
