Coach will help you get off to the right start by “remaking” one of your
favorite recipes! Submit one recipe of your choice, by December 31 to
broolib@suffolk.lib.ny.us or hand in a copy at the Circulation Desk, and Lisa will use
her experience as Baking Coach and recipe developer for Domino Sugar and Domino
Light Sugar, to remake your recipe with less fat, calories and sugar. At the time of the
program, one recipe will be selected for live demonstration and tasting. Participants

has a New Director
The Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the
appointment of Jamie Papandrea as Library Director.
Jamie received her Master’s Degree in Library Science
from St. John’s University and is currently taking classes in
Public Library Administration at the Palmer School of
Library and Information Science at L.I.U. Post. She began her career at BFL back
in 1998, when she started as Page and returned to begin her professional career
in 2008. She looks forward to working with the staff and community in this new
role and is excited for this wonderful opportunity!

Kelli has recently been awarded the Excellence in
Service Award, sponsored by the Suffolk County
Library Association. This prestigious award is
designed to recognize dedication to public service
demonstrated by any Suffolk County Library staff
member of a public, school, special or academic
library and decided by a committee of library professionals. In Kelli’s 31 years here at the Library, she continually demonstrates kindness, compassion, and true
devotion to public service. Thank you Kelli, for all you
do for the Brookhaven Free Library community!
