Introduction
The Pink Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization (Registration number-E/20638/
Ahmedabad) run by a group of professionals facilitating community development initiatives.
It promotes holistic development of marginalized section of society, by adopting an
integrated approach with main emphasis on Four Es: - Entrepreneurship, Employment,
Education and Empowerment.
Our prime focus is on developing self- dependence in women, children and youth to enable
them to lead more effective and satisfactory lives. We are established with a vision to
ensure that the vulnerable communities are empowered, live in dignity by sustaining
themselves and improve their economic status by keeping their households secure and
resilient. We wish to bring visible developmental change on the ground by achieving
sustainable solutions to problems pestering India, through its many health, education,
livelihood, vocational training and skill-based programs.

Envisages a socially conscious society based on equal opportunities and fulfilment of human
potential.
Mission:
 To bridge the societal disparities by imparting quality and skilled based education to
the under-privileged
 To provide a stage for socially conscious youth caring to contribute to the nation's
comprehensive progress and to mould them into future leaders
Past Projects
The Pink Foundation has built up a strong network among few areas and dedicatedly
working with women and children there to create a better living condition for them.
 We had joined hands with Joy of Giving Week (Daanustav 2014) for conducting few
events in Ahmedabad which will later, empower many lives.
Diwali Card making event for slum children
Temple visit for
deprived old slum
ladies (maajis)
 Besides this, generous donors join us in conducting free distribution drive of Rice and
Lentils in the areas we work.
 A Christmas Carnival was also conducted for the slum kids wherein, they enjoyed a
lot with their personalized Santa!
 TPF is also depicting the 'Power of Hand-made'. It helps women realise and develop
their true potential to fight poverty and drive continuing even-handed change. We
nurture leadership internally and among their fellow beneficiaries to achieve our
cumulative mission of sustainable livelihood making them decision makers and
agents of change.
Currently, TPF has women groups making Hand painted Diyas for Diwali festival, Organic
and Handmade Soaps and Incense Sticks and Cones.

 Self Named Tea Stalls (Lorry) for
underprivileged women
o To construct and allot Self Named Tea
Stalls (Lorry) to each beneficiary and
giving them their own self identity and
recognition.
o To facilitate Economic Independence
and Entrepreneurship among
underprivileged women (especially
Widows/Divorced/Separated) and
Daily News and Analysis (DNA) Newspaper
coverage on Friendship Day 02 August 2015
thus making them lead their life in a dignified manner.
o Empowering them through providing proper training and generating
employment opportunities.
o Educating them about the contribution they will be making in their families by
being the ONLY earning member and supporting their children for their better
future.
(We even sponsor ONLY Lorries for women who wishes to sell something other than Tea)
 Admission of slum kids in Residential School
o To help slum kids
(orphans or children of
single mothers,
widows or victims of
domestic violence)
experience the new
world named School.
o To help them reach
their goals and enjoy
the Right to Education.
o To enrol them in a Residential School and provide every possible necessity to
them.
o Help them to stand on their feet at the completion of the studies. Thus making
them confident and self dependent.

o Experience the essence of
Handmade by this Chutney
handcrafted with love and care.
 Vocational Training Programmes for
slum children
Every Sunday we conduct creative classes for
our associated children. We teach them how
to make things out of thread, paper, tissues
etc. The events are conducted at our slum
center.
Future prospective projects
 Women's Health Care- Production of Low-cost sanitary napkins and their
distribution
o To facilitate better healthcare facilities for underprivileged women and young
girls staying in urban slums and rural areas by creating awareness of using
sanitary pad instead of rags, cloth or dried leaves.
o Empowering them through providing proper training, education and
employment opportunities.
o Educating them about the diseases they are inviting for themselves due to non-
use of sanitary napkins
o Explain the complete Women Health cycle- From early marriage to usage of
Female Condoms to early pregnancy and finally early death due to certain
diseases which can be a curse for their reproductive system.
 Employment generation for underprivileged women
o Soap production unit
o Incense Cones production unit
o Production and selling of goods out of waste products
 Old is Gold- An initiative to capture the innocence of old age

contributes to positive youth development!
