Most stories have Princesses, Princes, Kings, Queens, or Royalty. Animals can talk or have special powers. Humans can take unusual forms or roles like giants, witches, or dwarfs. The setting is usually make believe with castles, kingdoms, and forests. Magic is present in events, places, or is used for good or evil. Main characters (Good) usually face misfortune (Evil). Villains are often powerful and use evil magic in the story. Problems often to lead to a solution or lesson at the end of the story. Most stories have “happily ever after” endings.
