2. lever A lever is a simple machine that is a bar on a fixed point to lift heavy objects with ease. The fulcrum is located where The two pieces meet and the effort Is you the load is the sharp part The fulcrum is where the door and the handle meet. When you apply effort to the handle it lifts the load on the inside which makes the door open.

3. pulley A pulley is a wheel with a grooved rim that a pulled rope or chain can run to change the direction of the pull that lifts a load. This is an example cause the lace moves through the holes. This is an example cause when you pull the blinds it opens and closes

4. Incline plane An inclined plane is a ramp in which it is raised at a level so that loads can be eased up. These stairs are an example cause it helps people change levels. An example is this wheel chair ramp

5. Wheel and axle An axle which is fastened so that when the axle is pushed the wheels move with it It moves the chair from one side of the room to the other Lets people move the toy car around

6. wedge Something that cuts or divides something When you push it into a bulletin board When you stab food

7. screw A screw is an inclined plane that wraps around itself When you open and close it Screwed to the door to hold it up

8. Complicated machines Is when two or more simple machines are put together It is a lever, wedge, and a wheel and axle. The lever is the handle. The wheel and axle is the knob and the wedge is the part that opens the can. THIS IS A WEDGE AND A LEVER. THE LEVER IS THE BLACK PART AND THE WEDGE IS WHEN THE STAPLES COME OUT.
