Some important tips to remember when and before having an interview: 4. Did you say; ‘Ahh’, ‘Err’, ‘Uhm’, ‘And’, ‘Like’, ‘Stuff’, ‘Kinda’, ‘You know’, etc., quite a bit?

Yes because I could not think of the correct answer.
   1. Plan Your Interview Approach. Such as how many cameras are you going Review one movie this quarter from the theater 5. Were you sitting straight?
to be using, who you’re interviewing, what style you’re going to be as straight as I could without being uncomfortable in the chair

much time as possible. As with almost everything, it’s impossible to avoid No because I do not like eye contact.

   3. Prepping Your Interviewee. Prepare them so they know what to expect for 8. Did you look confident? (Not how you felt)

   4. Put Them At Ease. Don’t come across aggressive before the interview. It Prominent Actors
can cause them to be defensive. Plan out your general questions to ask Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, r2d2, Obi Wan I forgot to. But I am sure that if this was a real interview I would.

   5. Using a Stand-In during Setup. Have crew act as stand-ins while setting up
lights and audio. 11. Were the questions you asked the interviewer relevant and appropriate?

Yes I brought it with me.
   7. How Did I Do? May I See It? The answer has to be no. Try to tell them this Sci-Fi
during the pre-interview session. Setting. Where the movie takes place, the year, 13. Would you hire yourself from this interview? Why or why not?
   8. When You Wear All the Hats. When you’re a producer doing everything, and any other information of that sort.
“wearing all the hats,” again, make sure to allow plenty of time. A galaxy far far away, No because I looked stupid,
                                                                                                                                                                        14. What did you do well? (According to the Job Search packets studied)
   9. A Little Help’s a Big Deal. It’s good to have a volunteer crew, if you’re able An Overview of the Plot. I had answers to everything and brought what was needed.
to afford or acquire one. Any additional help is always great to have. Time The jedi’s find Anakin on Tatoone and Anakin

won a pod race to fix the hyper-drive generator. I wouldn’t do it on video because that ruined the whole thing for me.
Then they found the force was strong with him,
and Darth Maul was cut in half.
If you've seen other movies by this same

I haven’t seen the other ones.

Apple Store

   1) Why do analysts say Apple has an advantage over its competitors in computer
and electronics retailing? It sells a single brand, stocks far fewer products and
has only a few hundred stores, compared with Best Buy's more than 4,000.

   2) How have Apple's competitors tried to copy the Apple retail store experience?
They try and copy Apple’s store by having the same layout as the Apple store.

   3) Why did former Apple CEO Steve Jobs think it was important for Apple to have
brick-and-mortar stores? He wanted Apple to be around for a long time, so he
      wanted a good foundation.

ACTIVITY IDEAS

• How important are retail stores to Apple's success? Do you think Apple would be as
successful if it didn't have a retail store chain? Why or why not? I think that it is really
important that Apple has retail stores. This allows more people to see them, and more
people to notice. If they didn’t have a retail store chain, they might not be as seen as
other stores.

• Some of Apple's retail stores are considered high-profile venues. According to Apple,
these stores and their "unique design elements, locations and size" help "promote brand
awareness and serve as vehicles for corporate sales and marketing activities." Apple
says 16 of its stores are classified as high-profile stores. Use the Internet to find out
where these stores are located and discuss why you think Apple wanted a high-profile
store in each location. Have you ever visited one of these stores? If so, how does it
differ from a regular Apple store? I have never been in an Apple store, but it’s probably
because the higher the profile, the more visible they are to bigger companies.

• Chose a retailer that you frequently visit. Make a list of things that make this store
recognizable (store layout, colors, employee dress, etc.) and assess why you think the
retailer decided on this options. After making your list, partner with another student and
compare your stores. Are there common features? If so, how do those features
enhance the customer experience? I picked Aeropostale. This store sells clothing. They

It sells a single brand, stocks far fewer products and has only a few hundred stores, compared with Best Buy's more than 4,000. 2) How have Apple's competitors tried to copy the Apple retail store experience? They try and copy Apple’s store by having the same layout as the Apple store. 3) Why did former Apple CEO Steve Jobs think it was important for Apple to have brick-and-mortar stores? He wanted Apple to be around for a long time, so he wanted a good foundation. ACTIVITY IDEAS • How important are retail stores to Apple's success? This allows more people to see them, and more people to notice. If they didn’t have a retail store chain, they might not be as seen as other stores. • Some of Apple's retail stores are considered high-profile venues. According to Apple, these stores and their "unique design elements, locations and size" help "promote brand awareness and serve as vehicles for corporate sales and marketing activities." Apple says 16 of its stores are classified as high-profile stores. If so, how does it differ from a regular Apple store? I have never been in an Apple store, but it’s probably because the higher the profile, the more visible they are to bigger companies. • Chose a retailer that you frequently visit. Make a list of things that make this store recognizable (store layout, colors, employee dress, etc.) and assess why you think the retailer decided on this options. After making your list, partner with another student and compare your stores. Are there common features? If so, how do those features enhance the customer experience? I picked Aeropostale. This store sells clothing. They
