Dichelostema ida-maia, commonly known as the firecracker flower, is a species of flowering plant native to Southeast Asia. It is a herbaceous perennial plant that produces clusters of bright red tubular flowers in late summer and early fall. The firecracker flower grows up to 3 feet tall and prefers partial shade and moist, well-draining soil.
