Instructions for making gumpaste Christmas Decorations for cakes or cupcakes.
Decorations include a snowman, santas legs (which we use stocking out of a cupcakes!) and some Christmas Presents and Baubles

Roll two balls of white paste. 1 Small and 1 big. Glue the small ball
to the big one and stick the spaghetti through the middle of both
balls.
Roll out some of the red and green paste into long rectangles. Cut
the green into vertical strips and glue onto the red paste. Roll over
both to secure.
Cut the top and bottom of the rectangle to form the scarf. Snip the
ends on both sides.
Glue the scarf where the two white balls meet.
Roll out 5 very small balls and 5 slightly bigger balls using the black
paste.
Glue 3 of the bigger balls on the bottom white ball to create the
snowman’s buttons.
Glue the other two balls where the snowman’s eyes will be.
Glue the really small black balls to form the snowman’s mouth.
Roll a small amount of orange paste into a carrot shape. Glue the
nose to the snowman’s face.
Roll out some of the black paste, slightly thick. Cut a small circle
using the cutter.
Roll some of the remaining black paste into a blunt teardrop shape
and glue to the circle.
Form three holly leaves using the green paste. Score lines on the
leaves using the lines and glue them to the hat.
Roll 3 very small red balls (holly berries) and glue them where the
holy leaves meet.
Glue the hat into place.
Dust the entire snowman with the pearl dust.

Roll the red paste into a teardrop shape with a blunt
end, forming the leg.
Roll the white paste into a ball and flatten both ends.
Roll the black paste into a teardrop shape with a blunt end
to form the shoe.
Place the spaghetti into the red paste leaving a bit exposed
at one end.
Glue the white paste onto the blunt end of the leg.
Glue the shoe to the white paste, concealing the rest of the
spaghetti.
Repeat to make both legs
Dust both legs with the pearl dust.

Form a piece of the paste, any colour, into a cube.
Roll out a contrasting colour and cut 4 long strips.
Glue two of the strips, criss-crossing in the middle, to the cube.
Cut one of strips into two. Cut a ‘V’ shape on one end to form the bows
tails. Glue to the cube.
Cut the last strip into 3, two large pieces and one small.
Loop the two large pieces to form the loops of the bow and glue where
the two ends meet.
Glue the remaining piece to the loops to form the bow.
Place the bow in the middle of the cube and glue in place.
Dust the present with pearl dust.

Roll a piece of paste, any colour, into a small ball.
Roll a very small piece of white paste into a cylinder shape and score a line
in the middle, all the way around.
Dust the cylinder with the silver dust or paint with silver paint and leave to
dry.
Dust the small ball with the pearl dust.
Glue the cylinder to the ball.

Roll the red paste into a long cord and do the same with the
white paste.
Place the two cord side by side and twist together.
Roll the twisted cord till the two pastes stick together.
Cut the paste to the desired size and bend the one end to
form the hook.
Make a small green bow, either by hand or with the mould
and stick to the candy cane

Roll out the yellow paste and cut a star, leave to dry.
Fill the piping bag with the green buttercream.
Pipe a tree, starting from the outside and build up the buttercream.
Decorate with the extra decorations.
Place the dried star at the top of the tree.
Sprinkle with glitter.

Roll the green paste into a long cord.
Cut the cord into two equal pieces.
Twist the two cord together to form the wreath. Glue the
ends together.
Make a bow with the red paste either by hand or with the
mould.

Roll the green paste into a ball and roll into a teardrop shape.
Use the small scissors and cut ‘V’s into the tree. Starting from the top
and working your way down, this will form the leaves of the tree.
You can add a star to the top and other decorations if required, or just
sprinkle with glitter and place of the cupcake.
