Borderless consumers are an important and rapidly growing segment, almost 40 percent of U.S. adults. These consumers use several devices and require connectivity, flexibility and choice whenever and wherever possible. They are defined as consumers who own a laptop or desktop, own a smartphone or tablet, have an Internet-enabled device at all times, are motivated to make technology and connectivity upgrades and are interested in the benefits of a connected home.

Today, it is virtually impossible to absorb all the content you’re interested in. There’s only so many hours in a day. And you probably still have to study or a job to do. But then there’s smart algorithms which are constantly learning what we do and don’t like. At a certain point, they help us to make the optimal choice each and every time. They go by the names of Siri, Cortana or Google Now. And they will become the personal assistant everyone carries around. Bad news for advertisers. Because, how will advertisers ever get commercial content past all the smartness that has been put into the consumers’ hands? And how will advertisers have to change in order to be successful?

2007年,新加坡政府聚焦綠色經濟的發展潛力,在施政計畫中提出成為「亞洲環保典範國家」的願景,設定國家永續環境營造策略。此後,吸引國際永續環境營造大廠設點投資、扶植資源處理標竿企業、引導民生傳統產業進行綠色創新,成效卓然。如今,新加坡不僅是「亞洲環保典範國家」更是世界上推動綠色創新的典範。 未來掌握綠色經濟趨勢的企業,即具備在新時代潮流中掌握商機的競爭力。取法乎上,故經濟部技術處特專案補助本次新加坡綠色創新研修團,與新加坡製造研究院(SIMTech)永續中心主任宋斌博士合作規劃研修內容。研修團將在企業參訪、實務觀摩、互動交流與業師隨行的環境中學習,是企業開展綠色商機、提升永續環境營造商業視野的絕佳機會!
