Enterprise Architecture Capability is an ongoing practice that
provides the context, environment and resources to govern
and enable architecture delivery to the organization.
The Enterprise Architecture Capability




The enterprise architecture capability will enable enterprise to
1.   works with the business planning team to provide business direction and run the enterprise.
2.   provide direction to the Portfolio/Project Management team, after the Business planning team approves the resources
3.   provide guidelines, reviews as a part of the architecture governance to the solution development team during the
     development process
4.   provide directions to deploy the solution and continuously monitor the deployed solution in co-ordination with the
     Operation Management team
What you need to do?
Create an Enterprise Architecture Board
An architecture board is responsible to align IT strategies to the business
objectives.

The recommended size for an Architecture Board is four tor five( and no
more than ten) permanent members.

An architecture board is typically made responsible, and accountable, for
achieving some or all of the following goals:
    •Consistency between sub-architectures
    •Identifying re-usable components
    •Flexibility of enterprise architecture:
         •To meet changing business needs
         •To leverage new technologies
    •Enforcement of Architecture Compliance
    •Improving the maturity level of architecture discipline within the organization
    •Ensuring that the discipline of architecture-based development is adopted
    •Providing the basis for all decision-making with regard to changes to the
    architectures
    •Supporting a visible escalation capability for out-of-bounds decisions

  • 2. Enterprise Architecture Capability Enterprise Architecture Capability is an ongoing practice that provides the context, environment and resources to govern and enable architecture delivery to the organization.
  • 3. The Enterprise Architecture Capability The enterprise architecture capability will enable enterprise to 1. works with the business planning team to provide business direction and run the enterprise. 2. provide direction to the Portfolio/Project Management team, after the Business planning team approves the resources 3. provide guidelines, reviews as a part of the architecture governance to the solution development team during the development process 4. provide directions to deploy the solution and continuously monitor the deployed solution in co-ordination with the Operation Management team

  • 5. Create an Enterprise Architecture Board An architecture board is responsible to align IT strategies to the business objectives. The recommended size for an Architecture Board is four tor five( and no more than ten) permanent members. An architecture board is typically made responsible, and accountable, for achieving some or all of the following goals: •Consistency between sub-architectures •Identifying re-usable components •Flexibility of enterprise architecture: •To meet changing business needs •To leverage new technologies •Enforcement of Architecture Compliance •Improving the maturity level of architecture discipline within the organization •Ensuring that the discipline of architecture-based development is adopted •Providing the basis for all decision-making with regard to changes to the architectures •Supporting a visible escalation capability for out-of-bounds decisions
