Slumdog Millionaire won best drama and three other Golden Globe awards. The movie tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who competes on the Indian version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" and overcomes many hardships. The actors and making of the film were also recognized at the awards ceremony.
