Yes, we do. However we should know that not every websites in any fields will be affected by Freshness
Update. It is said that around 35% of websites will be affected by Freshness Update (SEOMoz). Or 65%
sites will be left intact.
I think the time-sensitive information or news, e.g. fashion trends, political news, recent crimes, etc will be
more likely to be ranked based on their freshness. With clients in those area, we do suggest them to be
aware of the date published for their content. My favorite advice is: "Release early, release often"
On the other side, ecommerce products will not change overnight. Knowledge and expertise info will not
change overnight. While everyone want to read the latest, hot information, I believe many areas will not
be affected deeply.
Most of Google changes over time are to bring better search results to people. Thus if we have built
quality websites and use authentic, SEO approach, we will not need to run around each time Google
release a new update :-)
