Using Metaphors and Similes
 If a writer uses a metaphor it’s because they
want to give a more detailed and vivid image
of how they are feeling or what they are
describing.
 Look at the metaphors and similes below and:
1)Circle whether the statement is a

2)Say what the metaphor/simile makes you think
