Pearl Car Care provides instructions for restoring damaged headlamps using their Pearl Scratch Remover and Oyster Paint Sealant products in a 4-step process. The process involves sanding the surface, applying the scratch remover with a polishing pad to remove scratches and yellowing, cleaning and reapplying the remover if needed, and sealing the surface with the paint sealant. Following these steps restores headlamps and provides protection from further damage.

Suitable for the renovation of all plastic/acrylic
headlamps and removes scratches, scuffs, yellowing
etc.
Instructions for Use:
Step 1: Remove any surface dirt & contaminants
before brading the area to be renovated with P2000
Wet/Dry sand paper.

Clean abraded surface before polishing
Step 2: Apply Pearl Scratch Remover #PL053 to
Lambs wool Pad & polish in short bursts, to prevent
excessive heat build-up.

7. If necessary use a mist of water to keep the surface
cool.
Step 3: Re-apply Scratch Remover with Foam
Polishing Pad to enhance finish, again polish in short
bursts with light pressure applied to the pad.
When polishing process is complete, clean headlamp
to allow for inspection.

8. If further work is required repeat polishing process
again.
Step 4: Apply the Pearl Oyster Paint Sealant
#PL042 with a clean cloth and allow to haze before
buffing.
For additional protection a second application of the
Sealant can be made 15 minutes after the first
application
