Date from - to January 1978 - March 1982 Location Lebanon Company Grande Brasserie du Levant (Large scale brewery manufacturing Laziza and Falcon beers – 300 employees) Position General Manager Description • Covered the restructuring and reorganization of the personnel department and the marketing department, as well as the set up of a team of qualified assistants, technicians, and executives. • Elaborated the first provisional budget of the brewery. • Created the production planning and control departments, as well as the marketing and statistics department. • Conducted a “Time and Motion” study to help reach standards costs and optimum efficiency. • Launched new labels and packages for the local and export markets. • Opened Saudi market with non-alcoholic beer. • Introduced the Non Returnable Bottle into the Lebanese market in 1980. • Followed a four months industrial Top Management Training course in the Netherlands at Skal Breweries in Breda, covering all aspects of modern plant management.

Date from - to February 1975 – December 1977 Location Khobar, Saudi Arabia Company Arabian Polyfab (Industrialized Building Systems – Prefabricated Houses) Position Marketing and Sales Manager Description • Together with the production engineers, elaborated the organization chart of the factory. • Handled the creation and organization of the Marketing and Sales Department starting • Performed the screening and recruitment of the staff (around 75 people) • Conducted market surveys throughout the Kingdom on prefabricated houses and followed up on the marketing and sales of the houses • As marketing and sales manager, managed to win the first important contract (originally 92,000,000 SR) from the Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu. This contact helped the company to implement itself as one of the major industrial and contracting company in Saudi Arabia and later employed more than 5,000 employees.
