VARIABILITY IN MEDICAL PRACTICE: Both her thesis for the Master's Degree on Public Health (Variations in the rates of Ambulatory Care Sensitive Conditions) and her PhD thesis (Analysis of the use of new technologies in health: the case of HIV / AIDS and antiretroviral drugs”) focussed in this area. Of particular importance is her collaboration in the "Atlas of Variation in Medical Practice in Spain" (www.atlasvpm.org).
