Created proposals, bids, performed work (renovations, repairs, installations), supervised and directed employees. Invoiced customers and collected receivables, including accounts payable for expenses to vendors. Maintained repeat and developed new client base through referrals based on delighting customers and exceeding expectations.<br />MOTOROLA, INC, Horsham, PA (2007 – 2009) <br />Sr. Project/Program Manager<br />Team leader charged with delivering broadband services (video, data, voice) system implementations for the Verizon FiOS service and Fox Networks satellite uplink replacement programs. Focused on schedule planning, resource administration, cost administration (including budget forecasting), integration and implementation of systems, performance and change control management. Engaged and facilitated contractual agreements, subcontracts, Statements of Work (SOW) and site readiness plans.<br />Improved working relationship with customers by delivering field deployments, through implementing regular team status communications/meetings, readiness checklists, risk mitigation, proactive issue management and evaluating project performance (lessons learned analysis). Windsor, NJ (2005 – 2007) <br />Director- Regional Project Management Office <br />Created Eastern Division PMO, developed and implemented framework for Digital video/high speed data program/project deployments in four regional locations. Integrated with Product Mgt and Marketing to deliver aggressive Project Portfolio.  <br />Lack of cohesive Project Management for Division, resulted in creating PMO for regional Project Mgt teams. 30% project delivery improvement attained after 6 months of PMO existence.<br />Produced project deliverables (budgets, schedules, plans, requirements, reports, quality initiatives) for over 100 large/medium scale projects, ensuring on-schedule implementations. <br />To control ever growing project portfolio, conducted weekly engineering planning, strategy and status meetings with regional field teams, senior management and vendors, which provided project portfolio tracking for future projects. <br />Due to overtaxing of video network in NJ region, led systems capacity management program. Created proposals, bids, performed work (renovations, repairs, installations), supervised and directed employees. Maintained repeat and developed new customer base through referrals based on exceeding customer expectations.<br />INTERTECH ASSOCIATES, Freehold, NJ (2003 – 2004) <br />Consulting Sr. Systems Engineering Project Manager<br />Developed requirements for the design and specification of voice, data, video networks, security systems, network security, building controls, and public safety communication platforms. Performed feasibility assessments, contractor cost analysis, scheduling, prepared work requests and bid packages (RFP).<br />Engineered solutions, developed detailed system requirements for over 20 concurrent data/voice/security projects ($3 mil revenue) in the public safety, and education sectors (NJ SCC) for Abbott school districts.<br />Project managed the end-to-end life cycle of projects from inception through deployment, monitored the performance of vendors, and worked directly with clients and customer technical staff to understand their business needs. <br />Improved working relationships with customers (Architecture firms) at least 50% by creating project team Communications Plan, conducting on-site existing conditions meetings and leading requirements review meetings.<br />Managed support staff of 4 including hiring, assigning and reviewing work, performance reviews.<br />LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES, Holmdel, NJ (2000 – 2002) <br />Sr. Project Manager, Bell Labs - Optical Network Group<br />Led International cross-organizational (Product Mgt, Engineering, Research & Development) end-to-end system development team that developed new next-generation fiber optic line system platform. Created and executed comprehensive project plans which included scheduling of deliverables and budget tracking.<br />New optical system components developed externally required managing and mitigating issues/risks that facilitated development of system and kept it on-schedule. <br />Ambitious product feature list required creation of systems development plan that reduced overall development cost by 25% for future releases of product.<br />Due to difficulty of getting regular developer status updates, deployed a system development process including designing and implementing a web-based status tracking tool for timely project status.<br />To ensure attainment of ISO9001 and TL9000 certifications, designed and implemented a quality management system. Prepared Statements of Work, work commitment contracts, negotiated funding and maintained deployment schedules.<br />Sr. Project Manager/Systems & Business Analyst, Wireless Data Warehouse Group 1994-1997<br />Designed and implemented Wireless Data Warehouse (Customer CARE) with monthly releases on schedule and within budget through accurate cost estimating, planning, leading, organizing and risk assessment. <br />Led data analysis team that produced business requirements for new wireless account maintenance data system, which saved wireless service billing non-collectibles of $300K/year.  <br />Created detailed system requirements, system model and data flow diagrams using Object-Oriented Analysis methodology.
