Excel Promotions was the first National company to provide entertainment and merchandising for “Spring Break” holiday markets on location in the U.S., Mexico, and Australia. Under his management, Excel Promotions successfully completed over 50 special-event merchandising and entertainment ventures at coastal resorts. <br />In 1995, Baker founded The Buckhead Outfitters Company, a wholesale and retail promotional and consumer product’s company.  Buckhead Outfitters designed and subcontracted the manufacturing of corporate promotional products and retail souvenir products. Clients included Just for Feet, Kroger Drugstore Merchandising, Coca-Cola, NASCAR Racing, Georgia-Pacific, Anheuser-Busch, Bacardi, Atlanta History Center, A.C.O.G., Swiss Hotel, City of Atlanta, Buckhead Business Association, and The High Museum of Art.<br />In 1996, while the Olympic Games were being held in Atlanta, Baker worked directly with the former Mayor of the City of Atlanta and current President of the Buckhead Coalition, Sam Massell. Together they promoted “Buckhead,” Georgia as the quot;
Beverly Hills of the Eastquot;
 to help attract new residents, visitors, and business to the city.  Baker was interviewed on the local Fox Television affiliate’s, Good Day Atlanta program. Baker also received considerable regional press and local government support and appeared four times on the program. <br />Flavourset Travel<br />In 1997, Baker launched Flavourset Travel, a specialized travel and entertainment company for “Gen-X” young, cosmopolitan jet setters.  The concept was named, “Best New Entertainment Concept in the Music Industry” at the 12th Annual Miami Winter Music Conference’s 1999 award ceremonies.  Baker made a presentation for approximately 2,000 delegates at which he announced that Flavourset Travel had selected Ibiza, Spain as their first entertainment travel destination package.  Flavourset Travel went on to promote the holiday package directly to their target markets in events in 20 metropolitan cities with DJ Paul Oakenfold as their sponsor and headline entertainer.  Flavourset Travel was later hired to produce and execute tourism programs for the Ibiza Consulate and government of Spain.  Baker co-produced, E! Entertainment Television's, “Wild on Ibiza” program.  Wild on Ibiza was the first of the massively successful, “Wild On” series for E!. “Wild on Ibiza”  was broadcast in 25 countries and seen by over 400 million viewers.  Flavourset Travel’s promotional efforts helped increase tourism to Ibiza by 25%.  <br />In 1999, a spin off company was formed named Flavourset Productions.  Flavourset Production’s produced themed multi-media events that presented participating modern emerging fine artists, fashion designers, fusion chefs and restaurants with live electronic music acts, performance artists, video jockeys, and disk jockeys.  The events drew 1,000 to 3,500 guests to different venues in Atlanta each month.  Notable venues hosting Flavourset events included The Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center, The Atlanta SciTrek Museum, The Tabernacle, and The Four Seasons Hotel.  Sponsorship clients included Warner-Brothers Records, Air Europa, MTV, the NBA, Kinetic Records, Moet-Chandon, Land Rover, Jaguar, Christian Dior, Absolute Vodka, Caroline Records, Heineken, Amstel, and Red Bull.<br />In 2000, Baker expanded his company with the addition of Flavourset Promotions and Public Relations.
