4. A FEW RESULTS TO QUESTION 1.
Yes I do. The cassettes are bright colours which draw and attract the
attention of the audience.
Yes. It is different, this grabs your attention straight away.
No, I don’t like it and I don’t think that its eye catching at all. There is a lot
of white space, this gives me the idea that the songs will be boring too.
Yes. When the image is a real person, the audience attention will be
grabbed because she is throwing cassettes into the air.
No. I think that because over 50% of the cover is white space it is not eye
catching. I think that the whole cover should be bomb barded with
colour. That would attract my attention.
No. The writing needs to be bigger. That will be sure to grab attention.
6. “I THINK THAT THE TITLE ALONG THE BOTTOM WOULD LOOK
BETTER ALONG THE RIGHT HAND SIDE”.
I agree with this persons feedback this is why I am
going to change the placement of the title on
the final design.
I think that this will look good as this will be
different and will make the audience look even
closer to the front cover as the writing is down
he right hand side.
7. “I DON’T THINK SHE SHOULD BE WEARING BASIC AND
SIMPLE CLOTHING. IT SHOULD BE CRAZY AND EYE
CATCHING”.
I do not agree with this, In the final design I am
going to have her in a basic white top and a
blue jeans.
This is because I want her to there but not take
away attention from the cassette or to have the
audience looking at what she is wearing.
8. “ I DON’T THINK THAT THE ARTIST NAME SHOULD BE IN COLOUR. IT
TAKES THE EMPHASIS AWAY FROM THE CASSETTE”.
I also agree with this feedback. So on my final
design I will have all the writing in black.
I want the first thing the audience look at the be
the cassettes. So if putting ‘Leslie’ in black will
do this then I will.
9. “I THINK THAT THERE IS TOO MUCH WHITE SPACE, YOU SHOULD
MAKE EVERYTHING BIGGER TO FILL THE SPACE OR ADD MORE ON
THE FRONT COVER TO FILL THE SPACE”.
I think that having the white space on the front
cover is important, it makes the cover different
and very simple.
Having the white space puts this emphasis on the
title and the image. This is because my artist
brand image is herself and for this album
cassettes. This is why it important to not over
crowd the front cover.
