Janet Devlin, a contestant on the X Factor, was voted off the show. While judge Kelly Rowland abstained from voting between Devlin and another contestant, Devlin said she was fine with the decision and that the other contestant deserved to stay. Devlin said she was never really meant for the X Factor and that her own music tastes are more underground. Despite forgetting some lyrics during her performance, Devlin said being voted off the show would not stop her musical career or expression.
