2. LOS ROQUES Los roques The Los Roques islands are a federal dependency of Venezuela . Being almost an untouched coral reef , it attracts many visitors, especially from Europe. Activities include fishing birding, snorkling, diving, kite-surfing and there is a sea turtle research center located on El Gran Roque.
3. BORA-BORA Bora Bora Today the island is mainly dependent on tourism . Over the last few years several resorts have been built on motu (small islands) surrounding the lagoon. 30 years ago, Hotel Bora Bora built the first over-the-water bungalows on stilts over the lagoon and today, overwater bungalows are a standard feature of most Bora Bora resorts.

5. FERNANDO DE NORNOJA Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago of 21 islands and islets in the Atlantic Ocean . The area is a special municipality of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
6. CADAQUES Cadaqués is a town in the Alt Empordà comarca , in Girona province , Catalonia , Spain . It is on a bay near the Cap de Creus peninsula , on the Costa Brava of the Mediterranean Sea . It is only a two-and-a-half hour drive from Barcelona , therefore it is very accessible and not only attracts tourists but people who want a second home for weekends and summers. In 2002, Cadaqués had an official population of 2,612, but up to ten times as many people can live in the town during the peak of the summer tourism season.
