1 Kilogram = 1000 gram
1 Gram = 1000 Milligrams

the larger is multiplied:
-Kilograms (kg) to grams (g) = kg x 1,000
-Grams to milligrams (mg) = g x 1,000
-Milligrams to micrograms (mic) = mg x 1,000
-Liters (L) to milliliters (ml) = L x 1,000
