pit and a great chain in his hand.

The Millennium will be a literal thousand-year
period. This moment is not a utopia as some claim.
God created everything perfect and granted man
authority and dominion to care for Earth and
animals. But
man failed to take care of itself and its habitat. The
fall broke the man's
direct communion with God.

Not only humanity, but all nature was
defiled by sin and awaits redemption that
will occur when Christ take the Millennial
Kingdom (Romans 8.20-23).

"And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day
there shall be one Lord, and his name shall be" (Zech
14.9). 0 rule of Christ will reach all nations. All the
kingdoms of this world are ephemeral, but the kingdom
of Christ is eternal and will cover all countries. Everyone
will have to bow down, recognizing the landlord of the
King of kings. We are prepared for this glorious moment
with our Savior.

In the Millennial Kingdom, Jerusalem is the
spiritual capital of the world and politics (Is
2.1-3; 60.3). The nations will have to recognize
the value of Jerusalem, otherwise suffer
serious consequences (Zech 14.16,17).

16. "The word 'millennium' comes from the Latin mille
terms ('thousand') and annum ('year'). The Greek
word chilias, which also means 'thousand', appears
six times in Revelation 20, defining the duration of
the Kingdom of Christ before the destruction of the
old heaven and the old earth. 0 Millennium,
therefore, refers to mit years of the future kingdom
of Christ on earth that will come immediately before
eternity. During the Millennium, Christ will reign in

1. Jesus will rule with his servants.
In the Millennium, Christ's government is theocratic,
from heaven, deployed without the hand of man, which
is corruptible. His kingdom will never "left to other
people", will be eternal (Dn 2.44,45; 7.27). All that still
remains of structures of empires, kingdoms and
governments will be destroyed and replaced by the
Kingdom of Christ. Jesus will reign with full power on
earth (1 Tim 1:17). The psalmist's words, declared in
Psalm 96 will be fulfilled in the implementation of the
Millennial Kingdom of Christ on earth (Psalm 96.7-13;
Isaiah 33.22).

2. The church will reign with Christ (Rev. 20.6, 1.6, 5.10).
All saved in Jesus Christ will be kings and priests and
reign with Christ with power and authority (Ap.26,27; 2
Tim 2.12a). In addition to judge the world, saved, which
are part of the Church of Christ, will judge angels! (1 Cor
6.3).

3. The New Jerusalem.
It is the heavenly and eternal city, which will be
aimed at all saved in Jesus Christ. According to the
Scriptures its beauty is odd, but only believers,
washed and redeemed by the blood of the Lamb,
will enjoy such preciousness. The New Jerusalem is
not a utopia, as some theologians. It is real and
believers must be willing to reach it. In this world
we are subject to death, pain, disease, and many
other evils, but there is a holy city being prepared
for us. There will be no crying or pain and all will
live forever with Christ (Rev. 21.1,2,10-27).

"People included in the millennial reign of Christ will be the
saints of AntigoTestamento (Dn 12.1,2,6,13), the tribulation

the redeemed can enter the kingdom of the Messiah, the
living saints who escape the Taxation will break into the

escape the Great Tribulation.

Jesus is the "Prince of Peace" (Isaiah
9.6) and during the Millennium man
enjoy the peace that only Jesus can
give that does not depend on the
circumstances. The families live in
complete union (Is 65.23), there will
be no more wars or terrorist attacks
during the thousand years of peace
on earth (Isaiah 2.4). Justice and
truth in this period will be full (Isaiah
11.4,5), for the Son of God who will
judge with justice and
righteousness.

Wild animals will lose their ferocity and can live in harmony with
humans. Read Isaiah 11.6-8. The Earth's curse because of sin
disappear (Gen. 3.17,18). There will be no need for pesticides,
for God's blessing will be on food production. There will be
pestilences, floods, earthquakes, or lack of food on earth (Jer
31.12; Ps 67.5,6), as will agricultural production ever seen.

on the planet. Longevity

political control and spiritual. Politically, it
will be universal (Daniel 2:35), discretionary
(Is 11.4) and characterized by righteousness
and justice. Be zealous for the poor (Isaiah
11.3-5), but will bring reproach and
judgment for those who transgress Messiah
ordinances (Ps 2.10-12).

This literal kingdom of Christ on earth will
also have spiritual characteristics. Above all,
it will be a kingdom of justice, where Christ
is the King and rule with absolute

institutional. And this reality
will only be achieved in the
Millennium when Christ
establish his kingdom on
earth. Jesus will rule the
world with power and great
glory, after overcoming all the
kingdoms and governments
of the world.
