One third of the respondents to 2016 Successful Meetings’ trends survey said they planned
to hold more virtual meetings in the coming year, compared to just 2 percent who will plan
fewer. This was by far the largest increase in any type of meeting reported. Hybrid events
were second, with nearly 17 percent planning more, and 2 percent planning fewer.

Webcasting – In-Room Mode
In-Room Mode complements the Webcast
experience for in-person attendees to events that
have both online and in-person components (hybrid
events). Now in-person attendees can enjoy the same
level of participation as the virtual audience via their
mobile device with no app or plug-in required.
In-Room mode empowers every attendee with all the
interactive features traditionally available only to
online attendees. In-person attendees can ask
questions, answer polls, and view and save content.
Attendees simply type any questions into the Q&A
panel without the need to move the microphone. With
In Room Mode, everyone has a front-row seat to view
presentations.

Certification Webcast allows presenters to create simple, direct certification
options without the overhead of designing a complex course environment.
The presenter can enforce minimum requirements to create a pass/no pass
decision or certificate. The options for passing criteria can be any of the
following or combination of each:
• Minimum participation during a live
webcast
• Minimum participation during an on-
demand webcast
