This document provides guidance for a research report on an aspect of Peking Opera and how it might influence a performer. Students are to research one element of Peking Opera such as costume, makeup, gestures, or staging. The report should be 500-1000 words and include quotes, pictures, and citations. A 200-word reflection is also required discussing how the research findings could impact the student's performance. Assessment criteria focus on demonstrating knowledge of Peking Opera culture and elements through an understanding of the researched topic and how it applies to performing.

• Quotes/pictures must be used. This is your research – it is included
in the word count. You must use your ATL skills - follow report writing
format; use in text citation;
