 Navigate a maze with a Robot
    Path of Maze is at least 10 inches wide
    Openings are at least 8 inches wide
 Be able to distinguish red ball from blue ball
Develop Concept or Solution
 Build a robot based on the speculations and values of
  customer needs
 Robot design for 10-14 year olds
 Interview children between 10-14 years old
   Create valuable questions to be used in interviews
Evaluate Solutions
 Bring in ideas from customers
 Gather information from interview, get averages
Interview Averages
 Color: Black/Red/ Grey
 Form: Car/Transformer
 Tires: Yes, Regular
 Prior Experience with Robots: Not much
    Don’t make the assembling process too difficult
 Prior Experience with Lego's: A lot
 What appeals?: Appearance, Final turn out
 Most Complicated: Star Wars, Boat
   Would want to assemble it
   Difficulty level: Medium
 Where?: Inside
 Play with friends?: Yes
    Boys are more likely to play with Lego’s/Robots than
     girls
Communicate and Implement
          the Design
 After communicating with the interviewees, we
 evaluated the feedback to help formulate what we
 would need in order to meet customer needs. To meet
 these needs, we took the most recurring response from
 each question to come up with the logical need.
