Criteria to Measure Success!
Technology Objectives—Can use a variety of online tools to communicate with
others.
I can sign up for a wikispaces account.
I can become a member of a group on an online community
I am able to hold conversations on an online community to make
decisions. (checked throughout)
I can upload content to an online community (images, text,
voice/multimedia)
Is able to link to other online information effectively (embedding, linking
to other sites)
Resource Objectives—Can use a variety of quality resources to find
information online.
I can find current, reliable resources online (use the C.R.A.P. test).
I cite sources of information in text and multimedia form (movies,
pictures).
Images and other works I use are creative commons licensed or pass the
fair use for copyright.
21st Century Literacy Objectives—Can work online at different times
collaboratively with others to design and share information from multiple
medias for a purpose
I can contribute effectively to what the teammates in my class and not in
my class are working on. (checked throughout)
I can reflect on how well I and other members of my group have worked
together (at end of project).
I can create a final product using the information I, and my teammates
have found out that is useful and informative.
Science Objectives—Can tell about advantages and disadvantages of
renewable and nonrenewable energy resources and answer the overarching
question: Energy and the Environment: Can we have both?
I can describe how the energy resource I am researching is obtained
(Where does it come from?).
I can describe how the resource I am researching is transformed into
electricity.
I know how my energy resource positively and negatively affects the
environment and can use evidence to support my claim.
I can use evidence to support my argument on how other types of energy
compare to the resource I have researched.
I can describe advantages and disadvantages of my energy resource.
