• Prepare Marketable CV. Read CV carefully!!!
• Do Research on Job Profile/ Organisation/ and Self.
• Be ready with necessary Documents like, - Extra copies of CV/Blank
papers/ Pen, Certificates, Mark Memo, Company Letter, etc.
• Be in Formals/ Uniform.
• Arrive early. Locate the place/ room of Interview.
• Take Permission to enter.
5. • During -
• Enter with confident and smiley face. If the interviewer offers
his or her hand, shake it firmly. If they don't, it is appropriate to offer
yours.
• Wait until the interviewer sits or offers you a seat.
• Maintain good Non-verbal communications. Be aware of what your
body is saying. Avoid closed postures. Sit upright, but not stiffly.
• Avoid using phrases like- I think, Basically.
• Show the fit between your skills/abilities & Company /Job.
• Discuss what you can offer to company.

• Exhibit marketable skills.
• When you answer a question, look the interviewer in the eye.
• Be aware of the interviewer's reactions. If he or she looks
confused, ask if you can clarify anything.
• Show that you are interested in the job by asking questions.
• Try not to appear bored or anxious. Don't look at your watch.

• Thank the interviewer for his/her time and consideration.
• Ask when you can expect to hear from him/her.
• Ask for further processing.
• If the interviewer offers his/her hand, shake it firmly.
Otherwise, it is fine to offer yours first.
• If not already discussed, you can offer to leave a sample of
your work, or portfolio if you have one.
• Ask for Feedback.

11. Interview Guidelines
• Everyone is nervous on interviews.
• In general, be hopeful and positive. Never be negative.
• Rehearse your answers and time them. Never talk too much.
• Don't try to memorize answers word for word. Rehearse your answers
frequently, and they will come to you naturally in interviews.
• As a daily exercise, practice being more optimistic.
• Be honest...never lie.
• Right after each interview note what you did right, what could have
gone a little better, and what steps you should take next with this
contact.
