5. Jebel Shams (Sun Mountain)
 3,000 meters high
 Unique place for camping, climbing,
and road tripping.

6. Samhan Mountain
 Height : 2,100 metres
 During the khareef monsoon season (July-
September) covered with greenery, twisted
frankincense trees & flowing streams.
 Home to a number of mammals such as the
Arabian gazelle, foxes and the Nubian ibex.

7. Jebel Ghawil (The Grey Mountain)
 Head to the northern side of Oman
 mountain in Al Buraimi Governorate
 Altitude : Camp-site is at 600m
 Summit is at 1100m.

8. Jebel Misht
 Climbing and hiking hub for locals and
expats
 Located on the edge of the Empty Quarter
 One of the highest vertical peaks in Oman
 Jutting up 1,200 meters high

9. Al Jabal Al Akhdar (Green Mountain)
 2,980 meters high
 Most beautiful mountain, cool weather year-
round, snow falling at times
