2. Mrs. Zuniga
Mrs. Zuniga has been with Castleberry I.S.D. for 4 years. She is a graduate from
Tarleton State University in Stephenville. Mrs. Zuniga is a 1st grade bilingual
teacher. As quoted by her husband, “she has tremendous love for her students
that becomes apparent in the very first week of teaching.” Mrs. Zuniga is
always found working hard in her classroom with a smile on her face.
Mrs. Zuniga has a beautiful family. Her husband has been studying medicine at
UNT Health Science Center to become a doctor and is almost finished! She is the
loving mother of her son, Caleb, in Pre-K at AV Cato and her sweet daughter,
Alexia, who is 4 months old. In her spare time, Lizette likes to spend time with
her family watching movies and reading Dr. Seuss.
Mrs. Zuniga is beginning her second year teaching at A.V. Cato Elementary. She
is a dedicated teacher and a great encouragement to the 1st Grade Team.
We are so thankful to have Mrs. Zuniga on our campus and appreciate all the
hard work she puts forth for her students!
