amigo Apala. Sus reportajes, excursiones, fotografías de criaturas que encontraba en el camino…, y
sobre todo su amabilidad al compartirlos con todos nosotros. Por esta razón quiero dedicarle esta
presentación en agradecimiento y amistad.

When I found these paintings, first thing that came to my mind were the presentations of
our dear friend Apala. His reports, trips, pictures of creatures found in the road ..., and

23. Raymond Watson (1935-11994) is a well known British artist born in East Anglia, where he lived all his life. He
painted the birds of Norfolk and also painted in the Scottish countryside working mostly in watercolor. He
specialises in ornithological subjects, particularly garden birds in their natural habitat. His work has been
influenced by Archibald Thorburn and George Edward Lodge. His paintings have been exhibited over a
number of years at the Tryon Gallery in London.
Raymond Watson (1935-1994) es un conocido artista británico nacido en East Anglia, donde vivió toda
su vida. Pintó las aves de Norfolk y pintó también en el campo escocés, trabajando sobre todo en
acuarela. Se especializó en temas ornitológicos, especialmente, las aves de jardín en su hábitat
natural. Su trabajo ha sido influenciado por Archibald Thorburn y George Edward Lodge. Sus pinturas
han sido expuestas durante varios años en la Galería de Tryon en Londres.
