• I’m your average 17 year old.
• 5 foot 10 inches.
• I am athletic, and a hard worker.
• I work at a restaurant as a line cook, and
average around 35 hours a week.
• I am both a full time student, and a part-
time worker.

• I have found that my career choices are
more geared toward mechanical, and
hands-on type of work.
• I want to work out in the field, and be able
to see a different type of environment
each time, whether it is different people,
scenarios, or the actual area.

• I would say my best traits are:
• Self-Esteem: I believe in myself.
• Decision-Making: I can evaluate a situation, and find out all
possibilities.
• Communication: I can easily talk, and entertain people that are
interested in my topic.
• I would like to work on a few traits as well:
• My Arithmetic/Math is something I feel I must work on, to improve
my ability to solve mathematical problems.
• Listening, which includes taking notes and visually paying attention
also is a weak point for me, I must be able to pay full attention to
accomplish jobs, and perform them flawlessly.
• The last, but very important trait would be computers, I feel that if I
want to advance in any career having a good knowledge of
computers, and having the ability to type fast would be a definite
advantage.
5. Lifestyle
• I want to have a job that I know I will
always have work, and be able to bring a
modest income that can support a family.
• Living in a house in a nice suburban area
is my goal, and to have a nice small
family.
• I want to be able to have a say in hours I
work, and be able to take off when I need
to.
6. Future
• I want to increase my education, and in
order to do so college is a must.
• I want to develop a stronger mathematical
spectrum, and be able to work with
numbers better.
• I hope that I can sway from the
mechanical aspects of work to a more
mental, and paperwork type of job over
time.

8. Food Service Manager
• A food service manager is the person that is in-
charge of a restaurant, he creates meals,
supervises employees, and directs shifts. I
would be perfect for this because I love working
in a restaurant, I started at an early age working
in one, and I don’t mind the long hard hours, in-
fact, I enjoy the time.
• This job fits in the realistic, and
entrepreneur side of my Holland code,
and is a good match
for me.
9. Immigrant and customs inspector
• I chose an inspector, because they get to
meet new people everyday, and they can
work with different situations, I enjoy being
bale to change up my style of work, and
not just do the same thing everyday.
• This job fits my conventional and realistic
parts of my Holland code, and I
could see myself enjoying this type of
work.
10. Police Patrol Officer
• Police officers main line of work consists
of patrolling a certain area, enforcing laws,
and regulate traffic.
• This job fits my Realistic, and Social
aspects of the Holland code.
• Most officers get there experience in the
field and many get an education consisting
of a Associates degree and Bachelors
degree.

• I like hands-on problem solving jobs. I am
technical.

• I like to work in a job that is action-
oriented, and practical. I like to produce
results.
12. Chef
• For the person who enjoys working long
hours, a chef position in a restaurant can
be for you. I am one of those people, and
a chef would fit my career personality. I
would be in command of a bunch of sue
chefs, and be the person responsible for
creating meals and dishes. This job is one
that has a good outlook for people will
always want to eat out, and popular
restaurants thrive off of having good chefs.
13. Park Ranger
• Early mornings, and stressful situations are
home to Park Rangers. I would fit a park ranger
because I am a person who likes to mold, and
change jobs every once in a while. A ranger is
supposed to be able to handle an situation that
is thrown at them, they are trained in medical,
environmental, and hazardous sciences.
• I like that they have a job that primarily works
outdoors, it fits my description of hands on social
work.
14. Carpenter
• A person who works with wood, and combines
materials to create a finished project.
• This occupation requires a lot of manual labor,
and does have a rewarding aspect.
• For myself, it fit the hands-on technical work that
I most enjoy, and could have its benefits.
• I dislike that this job has a high injury rate, and
because of that reason it is not my favorite
career path.
15. Conclusion
• I have come to a conclusion that I could truthfully
say I am happy.
• I will have a job in which I primarily work with my
hands and complete hands-on jobs.
• I will work long hours, and hard ones, I will work
for my money, but over time I will raise up in
whatever career I decide, and master it, and
make it something I enjoy on a daily basis.
