5. Team Overview
We have 3 teams & 60+ team members:
1. Mens First team
2. Womens First team
3. Mixed First Team
• 20 rowers + 1 drummer in each boat
• Each team races average of 3 races per event
in local races, we race up to 6 times per event
6. Giving Back to Community
• January 2011 – Buzz’s Chinese New Year party helped
raise funds and awareness for the “Room to Read”
(www.roomtoread.org ) program. The event was a
great success, loads of fun and kicked off what is most
certain to be a yearly event
• For the past eight years, we have participated in the
annual Matilda Hospital charity Sedan Chair Race. The
event has raised over HKD50m since it’s inception
• Every year we also participate in the HK Coastal
International Cleanup Challenge because we want to
keep the beaches we race on clean

7. Our Supported Charity: KELY Support Group
KELY Support Group (www.kely.com ) is a non-
government funded bilingual charity which provides
non-judgmental, empathetic and confidential support to
youths 14-24 in Hong Kong.
KELY provides a wide range of programmes and services
which focus on drug prevention and intervention, as well
as the development of healthy self-esteem amongst
youth.
These include the provision of:
• Harm reduction education to schools;
• Multimedia art projects for students;
• Circus arts and peer support training;
• Youth forums and discussion groups; and
• A youth helpline on drugs and suicide.
KELY Support Group empowers young people through non-judgmental peer support to make informed
choices in reaching their potential
