This document summarizes a project to design a rubber tapping device for rubber plantations. The device was created by a group from ZHM Company to address labor shortages and increase the productivity of rubber tappers. The proposed device would automate the tapping process to allow laborers to extract latex from trees more quickly and efficiently with less training. It is affordable for both large and small rubber plantations and aims to lower labor costs while increasing profits. The designers hope the device will benefit the rubber tapping industry by making the work easier.

3. Our group is one of the designing groups from a manufacturing
company, ZHM Company Sdn. Bhd. The top management had
given us a project to design a machine or device that can contribute
to agricultural rural farmers to improve their productivity.
Our project is mean to design a device that is called Rubber
Tapping device
This device is very important to the society, or precisely, to the
farmers. This device will certainly increase the rate of productivity
of the rubber tapper in our country, Malaysia.

8. Rubber, the product of this age is cultivated throughout the world
with intense care.
The use of rubber is increasing throughout the world day by day.
Rubber has got a remarkable share in the agricultural economy
Recently a situation has arisen where there are no labourers for
tapping the rubber latex from the rubber trees. A serious shortage
is felt in this field.
 Even if labourers are available they are not skilled enough for
tapping the latex efficiently. Also they won't stick on to the field
for a long time. Rubber planters find it difficult to get skilled
labourers for tapping the latex and have to afford the higher rates
of labour charges.

9. As the solution these problem, our company create a
device called for Rubber Tapping Device. It a device that:
Can help the laborer to get latex in huge amount
Can smooth the laborer's job
Less time required to collect the latex because this device
can work automatically faster
The laborers just need to inspect the device whie
collecting the latex

10. The rubber tapper can tap a rubber tree much easier without less training.
This device with the help of user manual, it will take only one day to
master it.
The raw rubber can be extracted from the rubber tree more efficiently with
this device. By using this device, the cutting on the tree is constant, so
there will be no part with deep cutting because too deep the cutting, it can
kill the rubber tree.
Then, this device is affordable for large scale rubber plantation also for the
small scale rubber plantation. If this device is being use by the employee
with large scale plantation, the employee can increase the profit by
lowering labour cost.
The durability of this device is high which the main body is made from
aluminium and the blade made from stainless steel that can withstand
toward the unpredictable weather in Malaysia.

11. We hope that our invention which is rubber tapping device
will be able to help rubber tapper farmer to extract the
rubber more efficiently.
 Hopefully, our product can bring great benefit to all people
in the rubber tapper industry.
Limitation of this device. It maintenance is too costly. The
blade itself has to be change and the joint of this device
must be lubricant regularly.
In the future, we are going to replace the blade with some
other material that can withstand the weather in Malaysia
but with the same or lower cost.
